Advertising Policy

EDUCARDX Learn should stay useful even if every ad were removed. Advertising helps fund the site, but it never decides what we write.

Display advertising

We may show a small number of display ads, including Google AdSense, in fixed, clearly labelled positions on guide and category pages. We do not place ads in page heroes, and we never show ads alongside sensitive workflows. Third-party ad providers may use cookies; see our privacy policy.

Sponsored opportunities

Organisations may pay to feature an internship, job, scholarship or course. Every paid placement:

• is labelled Sponsored Opportunity
• must link to a genuine official source
• must meet the same standards as other listings, including verification
• may be removed if it turns out to be misleading

Sponsored links use rel="sponsored".

Partner and referral links

Some links on the site, labelled Partner, are referral links to other education websites. If you visit or sign up through them, the partner may know you came from us and we may receive a commission. This never costs you anything extra, and partners have no say over our guides. Partner links use rel="sponsored".

Sponsored content

If we ever publish content paid for by a partner, it will be clearly marked as sponsored at the top of the page, and it will be kept separate from our editorial guides.

What we don't accept

We do not accept advertising for unregulated lending, gambling, fake opportunities, job-style internships with an employer or scholarships that charge a fee to apply, or anything that targets students with misleading claims. Paid training programmes, such as paid virtual internships, must say clearly that they are paid training.
