What personal data EDUCARDX Learn collects, why, who we share it with, and your rights.

This policy explains how EDUCARDX PRIVATE LIMITED ("EDUCARDX", "we") handles personal data on learn.educardx.com ("EDUCARDX Learn"). The educardx.com platform has its own privacy policy, which applies to accounts, verification and financial services there. Nothing on EDUCARDX Learn asks for KYC, PAN, Aadhaar, bank, card or payment details.
What we collect, and why
We only collect what each feature needs.

Our calculators and checklists run entirely in your browser. What you type into them is never sent to us.
Children
EDUCARDX Learn is for students, some of whom are under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without a parent's or guardian's agreement: our forms ask you to confirm you are 18 or over, or that a parent or guardian agrees. We don't use personal data to track or target advertising at children. Advertising cookies are only for visitors aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has given us personal data without permission, contact us and we will delete it.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal data. We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf and only for the purposes above:
- Supabase: database and staff sign-in
- Our hosting provider: serving the website
- Google Analytics and Google AdSense: only after you allow them in the cookie banner
- An email provider: sending the newsletter, when we start sending it
Partners such as StudyCafe and EasyShiksha receive no personal data from us. When you follow a partner link, they only learn that you came from EDUCARDX Learn. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only a record of the unsubscription, so we don't email you again by mistake.
- Contact messages: deleted 12 months after we finish dealing with them.
- Click counts: stored without personal data.
- Security logs: kept for a short period by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- ask us to correct or update it;
- ask us to delete it;
- withdraw consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing or changing your Cookie settings; and
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
To make a request, use our contact form and choose Delete my data or Access or correct my data, or email us. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address involved. We aim to complete requests within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Database access is restricted by role, staff accounts are limited to the people who need them, and important admin actions are logged.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we handled your data, please contact us first. You can also contact our grievance officer (see the Contact page). If your concern isn't resolved, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
