Sponsored Content Policy
How EDUCARDX Learn handles sponsored listings, partner and referral links, advertising and paid content.
Last updated 4 Oct 2026
EDUCARDX Learn is funded partly by advertising, sponsorships and partner referrals. This policy explains how we keep that separate from our editorial work and how we label it, so you always know when we have a commercial relationship. It applies together with our Advertising Policy, Editorial Policy and Terms & Conditions.
What can be sponsored
- Sponsored opportunities. An organisation pays to feature an internship, job, scholarship, course or similar listing.
- Partner and referral links. We link to partner websites and may earn a referral commission when you visit, sign up or buy through those links.
- Advertisements. Display ads, including Google AdSense, in fixed advertising spaces.
- Sponsored articles or campaigns. Content a partner has paid for, if we publish any.
How it is labelled
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Sponsored Opportunity | An organisation paid for this listing to be featured. |
| Partner link | The link goes to a partner. We may earn a referral commission if you visit, sign up or buy, at no extra cost to you. |
| Advertisement | A paid ad shown in an advertising space. |
| Sponsored | An article or campaign a partner paid for. The label appears at the top of the page. |
Labels are shown wherever the listing or link appears, including on cards, detail pages and search results. Paid and partner links use rel="sponsored", so search engines know they are commercial.
Standards for sponsored material
Paying for a placement does not lower the bar. Sponsored listings and partner content must:
- link to a genuine official source;
- go through the same verification as other listings, with the date we checked them;
- describe the opportunity, product or price accurately, without misleading claims;
- never charge students a fee simply to apply for a job-style internship with an employer, a job or a scholarship;
- if they are paid training programmes, such as paid virtual internships, say so clearly; and
- follow applicable law, including rules on advertising and on financial products.
We may decline, edit for accuracy, or remove sponsored material at any time, including if we later find it misleading.
What we don't accept
We don't accept sponsorship or advertising for unregulated lending, gambling, job-style internships with an employer or scholarships that charge a fee to apply, fake or unverifiable opportunities, or anything that targets students with misleading claims.
Editorial independence
Sponsors and partners do not choose which guides we write, cannot review guides before publication, and have no say in our conclusions. A sponsorship or partnership is not an endorsement or guarantee by EDUCARDX. Sponsored content is never presented as independent editorial content.
Partner and referral links in detail
When you click a partner link, you first pass through an EDUCARDX Learn address (beginning /go/) so we can count the click. You are then sent to the partner's website with our referral code, so the partner can credit EDUCARDX Learn. We do not share your name, email or other personal information with partners through these links. The partner's own terms and privacy policy apply once you are on their site.
Current partners include StudyCafe (studycafe.in), for study material, exam updates and online courses, and EasyShiksha (easyshiksha.com), for online courses and internship-certificate programmes. Where a partner offers our visitors a discount, we show the code next to the link. For EasyShiksha, code EDUCARDX10 gives 10% off at checkout; the discount is set by EasyShiksha and may change. Our EasyShiksha referral code (929074) is added to the link automatically.
EasyShiksha's "internships" are paid online courses that come with an internship certificate. We list them under Courses and, on the Internships page, in a separate group labelled Paid virtual internships (training programmes), so they are never mixed up with internships at an employer.
What sponsors receive
Sponsors and partners may receive aggregate reports, such as how many times a listing was shown or clicked. These reports do not identify individual visitors.
Financial products
EDUCARDX Learn is an educational platform. Any financial product mentioned or linked is offered by the relevant regulated entity, on its own terms. A sponsorship or partner link does not mean a product is suitable for you; see our Disclaimer.
Reporting a concern
If you think a sponsored listing or partner link is misleading, or isn't labelled clearly, please contact us. We review every report.
